Espacio Minimo

Espacio Mínimo Gallery opened in October 1992 in Murcia. In November 2000 it moves to its present location in Madrid, in the art gallery area surrounding Museo Reina Sofía.

From the outset, Espacio Mínimo has focused on the promotion of the latest national and international artistic proposals. Along these years, it has introduced its artists in leading Spanish and foreign museums and collections, as well as in important private collections in Europe and USA. Since its opening, the gallery has participated in more than forty international art fairs in Europe and USA; ARCO, ART CHICAGO, ART FORUM BERLIN, ART BASEL MIAMI BEACH, ART COLOGNE, FIAC, ARTISSIMA, LISTE, THE YOUNG ART FAIR IN BASEL, THE GRAMERCY INTERNATIONAL CONTEMPORARY ART FAIR, FRIEZE...

In the last two seasons, it has organised solo exhibitions for non-Spanish artists such as James Bidgood, Jan Fabre, Liliana Porter, Erwin Olaf, Risk Hazekamp, Paul M. Smith, Yoshua Okon, Gary Lee Boas and Sergey Bratkov, as well as for significant Spanish artists such as Manu Arregui, Nono Bandera, Rosalía Banet, Bene Bergado, Miguel Ángel Gaüeca, Juan Hidalgo, Enrique Marty, Isaac Montoya and Manu Muniategiandikoetxea. It has organised two important group exhibitions, Paperview, with works on paper from young American artists and Art & Fashion, a particular vision on the connections between the world of art and the world of fashion.
