VOLTA4 EDITION EDUARDO SARABIA | Mexico born 1976 in Los Angeles represented by VOGES GALLERY
Eduardo Sarabia creates situations, contexts and objects that reflect and explore contemporary issues through the use of traditional Mexican folklore, techniques and imagery. Influenced by the intricate poetics of the black market, his work creates romantic visual narratives that deal with illegal practices--gun running, smuggling, counterfeiting--which become cross-pollinated with authorized commerce, particularly that of the art market.
