Txuspo Poyo is a multi-disciplinary artist possessing great skill for anticipating and stimulating the viewerkomilla;s imagination. In this vein, he can use any medium to reach a specific level of poetic aesthetic, with 16mm film, video, celluloid, photographic words and treated images. One recurring feature in his work is the film references from 20th century and virtual animation. In short, I can say the work of Txuspo Poyo is all about the invention of a system of self-imposed limitations and the exploration of their aesthetic possibilities. The work he does, in all its forms, depends on the suppression or revelation of information about stories.
He studied in Basque Country University(Bilbao), he then spent two years in Toronto-Canada with a grand to continue education. After that he moved 1991 to New York City with a grand fron Basque Country where is living and sharing place with Bilbao. 2001 he was awarded a grant from Marcelino Botin Fundation.
