Tom Früchtl

Lives in Munich and Berlin

 

By imitating the surface aesthetic of packaging material, and other “low materials”, Tom Früchtl ends up in magnifying them in the process. By using minimalistic methods, painting, surface and subject character all merge in such a way that conventional categories no longer apply. Works by Früchtl is currently shown in the Pinakothek der Moderne, Munich and the Museum für konkrete Kunst, Ingolstadt.
