Nancy Lorenz

The Tea Room is an installation organized around the art of the Japanese tea ceremony. Elements include a mother of pearl inlay screen, Buddha paintings on gold, sumi on silk, mica tea cups, gold pours on wood, plaster scholars' rocks. The artist sits at a low table resembling water, and draws tea cups.
