Born 1979 in Ljbujljana, Slovenia
Cibic has lived and worked in London since 2003. Her work is presented as specific events in which she interrupts or modifies the normal order of events that usually occur around a chosen place. Cibic does not photograph the reality she finds. Instead she constructs and theatricalizes her own spaces and situations. Her “sets” are created with a very personal poetry and certain confusion of the situation.
