Ignasi Aballí

Born 1958 in Barcelona, Spain

He develops a coherent and methodical practice focused in a constant research, classification, and archiving of specific elements from daily life and reality, displayed in a dry and minimal appearance that could easily connect him with conceptual practices.  He collects and displays newspaper sentences and glossaries of precise subjects creating  subtle, poetic and delicate reflections that contribute to the major debate of our late modernity.
