Flavia Bigi is an emotional artist whose work seeks to give visual form to feelings. For Bigi, each work opens a new door to a new search, and builds upon the last project by exploring new media. Bigi’s work is strikingly poetic; the artist uses memory as a vehicle for reflection and renewal. Her art might thus seem familiar: it culls from our shared experiences, nonetheless remaining strongly personal in the artist’s choice of form.
