 Born 1979 in Pamplona, Spain
Fermín Jiménez Landa presents an interdisciplinary installation made up of various pieces dialoging with one another. Selected for the INJUVE art fair and the upcoming Entornos exhibit at the ARTIUM of Álava, Fermín has established himself and one of the great promises of the new wave in Spanish contemporary art. His language swims between the punk, conceptual, minimal and pop, constantly covered in perversion, dissolemnization and, in short, humor, which for Fermín is the most fertile way of formulating a critical vision of reality. We cannot say that Fermín finds inspiration in his immediate surroundings, the public sphere or the most frantic deliria because everything concerns him simultaneously.
This multi-faceted vision of life is what structures or "destructures" his language. Everything interests him simultaneously because everything happens simultaneously.
