Known for his incisive social and political commentaries expressed in the medium of drawing, Perjovschi¹s work has been included in numerous biennials and major museum exhibitions around the world over the past decade. Using humor and irony as a form of poetic conceptualism, Perjovschi reflects on macro-political events with a sensibility that is as finely tuned as it is pointed.
Recent exhibitions include What Happened to Us?, Museum of Modern Art, New York; The Fifth Floor, Tate Liverpool, UK; 16th Biennale of Sydney; Recession: Double Wall Project, Ludwig Forum, Aachen, Germany; Seriously Funny, Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, Arizona; and a new iteration of his ongoing commission at the Vanabbemuseum, The Netherlands.
