Aspects from personal life and daily perception get intertwined with elements from image culture. These various sources go through a recycling process in a collage-like manner. In the same way a dream works, many impressions are transformed into a synthesis of reality.
In the work ŒInside, into the frame¹ , references to a certain architecture interplay with home footage and cinematic samples. Visual layers are built, different layers of meaning appear. A structure is created, a framework, wherein different situations occur. There is an interaction between these situations and the framework. A tension between exterior and interior. It tells us something about how we experience perception. The work deals with the perception of space, whether it¹s mental or formal.
