Cecília Costa

Cecília Costa is works in photography as well as in video, installation and drawing.
In 2004, she was chosen by the curator Isabel Carlos to participate at the Sidney Biennial.

 


Her starting point is normally the human figure, questioning the concepts of perception, identity and auto-representation.
Her last individual shows were in 2009, “Teoria de Cordas”, in Oporto, and in 2007  the exhibition “Pli” exhibited in Oporto, in Coimbra and in Lisbon at the Baginski, Gallery / Projectos.
