Born 1976 in Anger, France


Aurélien Froment is a multidisciplinary visual artist based in Dublin. Works by Froment were to be seen at the exhibition 'Word Event' that took place in 2008 at the Kunsthalle in Basel, 'The Paper Exhibition' at Artist's Space in New York and recently 'The Space of Words' at the Mudam in Luxembourg. Further, his work has been showed internationally at, among others, the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, the Project Arts Centre in Dublin, Tate Britain in London, the Nam June Paik Centre in Seoel, STUK in Leuven and at the 8e Biennale in Panama (Mexico).


Froment is preparing a series of solo presentations at Montehermoso in Vitoria (Spain), the Irish Museum of Modern Art in Dublin, Gasworks in London and the Wattis Institute in San Francisco.
