Pieter Hugo is the recipient of the KLM Paul Huf Award 2008, an annual prize given to a young international photographer under the age of 35. His work has been widely exhibited, and three monographs of his work have been published: Looking Aside (2006), Messina/Musina (2007) and The Hyena & Other Men (2007).
