“I can’t say that I work on a specific theme. I’m not interested in that. But if absolutely necessary, you could say that I am inspired by the formal language of the things which surround us in our daily life. I try to trace the functionality of these things and then remould them (I objectify the functions of everyday articles) into new objects, which may well evoke associations with fetish objects and ask questions about the meaning and purpose of our everyday culture. As a result, objects arise which seem to be mysterious or religious, strange, funny or like good old friends...“
