Sherman holds an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She has had recent solo exhibitions at Kavi Gupta Gallery, Chicago and Houldsworth Gallery, London. Claire Sherman’s paintings debuted last year at the Volta Show and have received tons of press attention from the NY Times, Time Out, Flash Art, The Times London and the Chicago Tribune. Sherman will be attending The MacDowell Colony for the Arts this summer.
