Born 1980 in Tiradentes, Brazil

Lives and works in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Awarded young artist that produces drawings, paintings, films, interventions, installations, always researching the elements and the force of nature for his work, had an exhibit at A Gentil Carioca in 2004. Took part of the “58 Artistes” event at the Fondation Cartier, in Paris, and “Troca Brasil”, at the PNCA, in Portland, Oregon, both in 2005. Winner of the Marcantonio Vilaça Award 2005; in 2006 had his work at The Singapore Biennale and “Time Frame” show at the P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center, “a group exhibition exploring the compression, extension, and mirroring of time”.
