Maya Gold

Born 1978 in Jerusalem, Israel

 

Gold's painting depicts daily occurrences from an above-ground perspective. What is originally seen as an abstract entity reveals itself as an object with meaning. Since graduation in 2005 Gold has become one of the most promising young talents in Israel today.
