Melanie Daniel

Born 1972 in Victoria, Canada

A prevailing sense of isolation runs through Daniel's works. Looming forests or wintry deserts are a constant - a silent witness to human acts, the uncanny exchange between nature and culture.

Selected exhibitors: Israel Museum, Ramat-Gan Museum, Herzliya Museum, Petah Tikva Museum, Alon Segev gallery; Tel-Aviv, Knapper & Baumgarten Gallery; Stockholm (forthcoming)
