Rosson Crow is a 23-year-old woman from Texas who is in her second year of graduate studies at Yale University. Her works are large kaleidoscopic neo-impressionist paintings, that have dealt with history and class largely through the lens of architecture and landscape. Her embrace of the material makes for luscious painting and dramatic renderings, the effects are haunting studies on loneliness and the supernatural. In spite of her youth, she has already sold out painting shows in New York and Paris and is being watched with serious enthusiasm by those who are concerned with matters of painting now.
