Scott Hunt

Scott Hunt was born in 1958 in upstate New York. He received his BFA from Parsons and has worked as an illustrator. Hunt’s work was recently included in NYU’s 28th Annual Small Works Exhibition in which he also received the jury award. Scott Hunt’s intent is to create images that are snapshots of an imagined narrative. Using symbolism employed in photography and cinema, directs the viewer to create their own individual narrative based on what their imagination tells them has happened before and after the frozen moment of the image.

Scott Hunt's solo exhibition of new drawings is currently on view at Goff + Rosenthal.
